Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EVoice iOS application ("the App") developed by Ethan Papp / Papptronix. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must supply your own API keys for any AI provider you use (OpenAI, Google Gemini). You are responsible for all usage and costs associated with those keys.
- You must comply with the terms of each third-party service you connect (Google Home, OpenAI, Apple services).
- You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App.
3. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose — including use while driving. You are solely responsible for safe device use while operating a vehicle. Always comply with local laws regarding phone and app use while driving.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethan Papp / Papptronix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages related to smart-home device actions triggered through the App.
5. Third-party services
The App integrates with third-party services (Google Home, OpenAI, Apple frameworks). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of those services.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the App.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
